How It Works

JOIN → SERVE → LEAD → CONNECT

Join the Community

Sign up as a family to receive updates about upcoming meetings and volunteer opportunities. Whether you’re new to service or already love giving back, there’s a place for you at NOCO RISE.

Serve Together

We plan service projects twice a month, giving kids and parents opportunities to make a difference together. From community cleanups to donation drives and supporting non-profits, join the projects that work for your family.

Kids Take the Lead

Kids help shape what we do by suggesting causes, sharing project ideas, and taking on age-appropriate leadership roles. With adult guidance, they build confidence, practice teamwork, and see how their ideas can turn into meaningful action

Build Community

Meet other Northern Colorado families while working toward a shared purpose. Through serving together, kids and parents build friendships, learn about local needs, and help create a community where people feel supported and connected.

Where We Make a Difference

Youth Leading. Families serving. Community partnership growing.

Supporting People & Animals

We support neighbors in need and local animal organizations though donation drives, comfort kits, and hands-on service. Youth project ambassadors help organize efforts and encourage others to participate. Working with non-profit partners helps kids understand who they’re helping and why their contributions matter.

Caring for Our Environment

We care for Northern Colorado through trail cleanups and projects that protect parks and open spaces. Young people help plan activities and guide volunteers through age appropriate tasks. Relationships with local organizations give kids opportunities to learn from people who care for these places everyday.

Strengthening Our Community

We bring families and non-profits together to turn kids’ ideas into meaningful service. Youth can serve as project ambassadors or take on president, secretary, and treasurer roles with adult guidance. All roles have age requirements and term limits. Through these experiences, kids build confidence and lasting relationships while learning how to lead and give back.

Who Can RISE With Us?

NOCO RISE welcomes kids of all ages and their families. Our projects are geared primarily toward kids who can complete tasks more independently, with parents serving alongside them.

Some partner organizations require volunteers to be over age 10. There will also be plenty of ways for younger kids to contribute through donation sorting and drives, assembling comfort kits, and making Christmas cards for seniors.
We’ll share age requirements for each project so families can choose the opportunities that fit their children.

Created for families who want to raise kids who give back.
